AC Repair & HVAC Service in St. Augustine, FL
AC not cooling in St. Augustine? Call Cool Cats. We repair all HVAC brands, and the $109 diagnostic fee is waived on approved repairs of $1,000+.
St. Augustine marks the southern edge of the area Cool Cats serves. It's one of our growth markets, but we don't schedule routine work south of St. Augustine. If your AC has stopped cooling, the simplest next step is to call Cool Cats during business hours so our dispatcher can get the details and confirm a visit.
What happens when you call about a repair
Tell our dispatcher what the system is doing. We'll confirm a time, and a technician will diagnose the problem, explain what's wrong in plain language and give you pricing before any work begins. We service and repair all HVAC brands. Our residential diagnostic fee is $109, and it's waived when you approve a repair of $1,000 or more. If the system turns out to be near the end of its life, we'll explain why and offer a free replacement estimate, with no pressure to decide that day.
Calling after hours
Our office and service hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We don't offer 24/7 emergency service. Calls after 5:00 PM are answered by an answering service, and our office returns calls the next business day. You can also send a Request Service form anytime; it's a request, not a confirmed appointment, and our dispatcher will contact you to set a time.
AC Installation & Replacement in St. Augustine
Every replacement starts with a free estimate. A technician will:
- Inspect your existing system
- Measure your home
- Talk through the comfort issues you've noticed
- Perform a professional load calculation
- Present multiple options
We install Ruud and Bryant systems. The right choice depends on your budget, efficiency goals, the application, and equipment availability. Cool Cats pulls the HVAC permit, and the permit cost is included in your quoted installation price. A normal residential change-out takes one full day. After you approve, installation is typically available within two weeks, depending on equipment availability. Every installation carries our two-year labor warranty, and financing is available through Wells Fargo and Synchrony.
