This Privacy Policy explains what information Air Waves Heating & Cooling, LLC dba Cool Cats Heating and Cooling ("Cool Cats Heating and Cooling," "we," "us" or "our") collects through this website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only. Information you give us in person, by phone or under a signed service or membership agreement is handled under those arrangements.

Information you give us
This site has two kinds of forms: a service request / contact form and a membership enrollment request form. Depending on the form, we ask for:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- Your service address
- Details about your request — the service you need, your preferred way to be contacted, whether you're interested in financing, the membership plan you're interested in, how many HVAC systems you have, and any message you choose to write
- An optional checkbox to receive promotional emails (maintenance reminders, specials and company news). It is unchecked by default and is separate from your request.
We do not collect payment card information through this website, and we do not collect consent to receive text messages. You can also simply call or email us instead of using a form.
How form submissions are handled
When you submit a form, it is delivered to our office by email through a form relay operated by CI Web Group, the company that builds and hosts this website. To keep spam and automated abuse out, our forms use Google reCAPTCHA, which collects information about your device and how you interact with the page and sends it to Google. Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to reCAPTCHA.
A website request is not a confirmed appointment. Our office uses what you send to contact you about your request.
How we use your information
- To respond to your request, schedule service and follow up on it
- To process a membership enrollment request you send us
- To send promotional emails, only if you checked the optional email box. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing or calling us.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it, based on your cookie choices
- To protect the site and our business, and to meet legal obligations
Cookies, analytics and your consent
This site uses cookies and similar browser storage. Some are strictly necessary for the site to work and to remember your privacy choices. Others are used for analytics and measurement, loaded through Google Tag Manager — for example, counting page views, phone clicks, form submissions and financing-link clicks so we can see which pages help visitors. After you send a form, we also store a small marker in your browser's local storage so the same request isn't counted twice; it contains no personal information.
We use Google Consent Mode v2. If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, analytics and advertising storage are off until you choose to allow them. Elsewhere they are on by default, and you can turn them off at any time. Your choices are stored in your browser's local storage on this device. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and turn off advertising storage for that browser. You can also decline analytics cookies with the Cookie preferences button below.
These settings control Google's analytics and advertising storage. Google Tag Manager also loads Search Atlas (described below), which does not currently follow the Cookie preferences button or a Global Privacy Control signal.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
Other third-party services on this site
- Google Maps. Our Contact page can show our Google Business Profile on an embedded Google map. The map loads only if you have accepted cookies or you choose “Show the map”; until then nothing loads from Google Maps. Once it loads, Google may set its own cookies and its privacy policy applies. The page also links to our listing on Google Maps.
- Google Fonts. The site's typefaces are loaded from Google's font servers, which receive your IP address and browser details when you visit.
- Financing applications. Financing is available through Wells Fargo and Synchrony. Our financing links take you to the lenders' own websites (retailservices.wellsfargo.com and mysynchrony.com). Anything you enter there is collected by the lender under its own privacy policy, not this one.
- Search Atlas. Through Google Tag Manager, every page loads a search-optimization script from CI Web Group (cortex.ciwebgroup.com) that sends the address of the page you are viewing to Search Atlas, a search-engine optimization service. Like any web request, it also receives your IP address and browser details.
- Social media links. Links to our social media pages take you to those platforms, whose own policies apply.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only:
- With service providers that run this website for us — CI Web Group (website hosting, delivery and the form relay), Google (reCAPTCHA, Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 and Fonts), Search Atlas (search optimization), as described above
- When required by law, legal process or to protect our rights, customers or the public
- With a successor business if our company is reorganized, merged or sold, subject to this policy
How long we keep information
We keep request and enrollment information for as long as we need it to respond, provide service, keep customer and business records, and meet legal requirements. Email-marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to the information you send is limited to the people who need it to respond. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please don't send sensitive information such as payment details or government ID numbers through our forms.
Payment Security
This website does not accept or store payment card information. No page on this site asks for a card number, and membership enrollment on this site is a request only — nothing is charged online. Financing applications are completed on the lenders' own websites, under their own security practices and privacy policies.
Children
This site is intended for adults arranging HVAC service. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Your Privacy Choices
Wherever you live, you can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct or delete it, unsubscribe from promotional email, and change your cookie choices with the Cookie preferences button above.
Your California Privacy Rights — Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
In the last 12 months, this website has collected the following categories of personal information, as described in this policy:
- Identifiers and contact details you enter in a form — name, phone number, email address and service address
- Service and membership request details you choose to send us
- Internet or device activity — pages viewed, clicks and device or browser details, collected through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4, Search Atlas and Google reCAPTCHA
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use and disclose about you
- Delete personal information we collected from you, with legal exceptions
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell personal information for money. Analytics or advertising cookies may count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law; you can opt out with the Cookie preferences button above, and we honor the Global Privacy Control signal as a valid opt-out request. Those two controls do not currently reach Search Atlas; to opt out of it, email or call us using the details below.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights — we will not deny service or charge you a different price because you made a request
To make a request, email info@coolcatsjax.com or call 904-697-6313. We will need to verify your identity before acting on a request to know, delete or correct, usually by matching the name, email or phone number we have on file. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof of the agent's authority.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above.
