No. Regular office and service hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Calls after 5:00 PM are answered by an answering service, and our office returns calls the next business day.

Your request is received, and requests received after 5:00 PM or on weekends are returned the next business day. A website request isn't a confirmed appointment — our dispatcher contacts you to confirm a time.

We serve Jacksonville and the Beaches, plus Ponte Vedra Beach, Nocatee, St. Johns and St. Augustine — generally within about 40 miles of our Jacksonville office. We don't schedule routine work south of St. Augustine, north of Jacksonville, or west of Downtown Jacksonville. Outside these areas? Give us a call — some jobs can be considered case by case.

Our residential diagnostic fee is $109, and it's waived when you approve a repair of $1,000 or more.

Yes. If another company has told you that you need a new system, we're happy to take a look and give you our own diagnosis.

Yes. Cool Cats offers free replacement estimates. A technician will inspect your existing system, measure your home, talk through the comfort issues you've noticed, perform a professional load calculation, and present multiple options.

We look at four things with you: the equipment's age, the repair cost, refrigerant considerations, and how often the system has broken down. If a repair makes sense, we'll tell you.

We install Ruud and Bryant systems. The right choice depends on your budget, efficiency goals, the application, and equipment availability.

A normal residential change-out takes one full day. After you approve, installation is typically available within two weeks, depending on equipment availability.

Cool Cats pulls the HVAC permit, and the permit cost is included in your quoted installation price.

Cool Cats provides a two-year labor warranty on HVAC installations. Manufacturer equipment warranties are separate and depend on the specific equipment.

Yes. Any HVAC system can join — there's no age restriction.

No. Unused visits expire at the end of the agreement term.

No. The technician can provide recommendations, options, and pricing, but you're not obligated to approve a repair.

Cool Cats Tune-Up Club: $149/year ($99/year for each additional system), 1 precision tune-up per year. PAW Club: $219/year ($149/year for each additional system), 2 precision tune-ups per year. VIP Club: $24.99/month ($14.99/month for each additional system), 2 precision tune-ups per year.

Yes. We service rooftop units and other commercial HVAC equipment, and we put together custom maintenance proposals for commercial properties.
