New Construction HVAC in Jacksonville, FL

Building a custom home, managing a residential build or running a commercial project in Northeast Florida? Cool Cats sizes HVAC systems with professional load calculations and coordinates the work with your construction.

Who We Work With

  • 🐾

    Homeowners building a custom home

You want a system sized for the house you're building and a clear explanation of your options.

  • 🐾

    Homebuilders and general contractors

You need an HVAC contractor who sizes systems properly and talks through scheduling with you.

  • 🐾

    Commercial contractors

You need HVAC for a light-commercial project within our service area.

Sizing Starts With a Load Calculation

New construction is the right moment to size a system correctly. We perform professional load calculations so the equipment matches the building as designed, not a rule of thumb. That matters in Northeast Florida, where an oversized system can short-cycle and leave the air humid.

Equipment Options

For residential projects, we install Ruud and Bryant systems. The right choice depends on your budget, efficiency goals, the application, and equipment availability. We'll lay out options at different efficiency levels so you can weigh upfront cost against long-term operation.

Communication Through the Project

We'll talk through timing with you or your builder up front. If something changes on the build, call us and we'll work through it together.

Where We Work

We serve Jacksonville and the Beaches, plus Ponte Vedra Beach, Nocatee, St. Johns and St. Augustine — generally within about 40 miles of our Jacksonville office. We don't schedule routine work south of St. Augustine, north of Jacksonville, or west of Downtown Jacksonville. Outside these areas? Give us a call — some jobs can be considered case by case.
